Counselling Supervision

My Supervision Qualifications and Experience

In 2021 I completed a Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. I provide supervision support and guidance within a warm relationship that encourages self-review. We’ll work together so that you feel confident in providing the support that your clients need. We'll take into account not only their well-being, but yours too.

I qualified as a therapist in 2009, and I have close to 1000 clients hours. I’ve worked across many different work environments, including charities and local government. I've worked in the criminal justice sector and been a housing adviser. This breadth of work experience has given me the opportunity to grow as a professional. It has also provided me with insight into some of the varied ways that people live and experience the world.

My Supervision Approach

Through the course of my studies, I adopted the CLEAR model, but as with therapeutic approaches, I believe in maintaining an understanding of a broad variety of concepts through reading about and considering different models and ways of thinking. Together we will manage legal and ethical boundaries while monitoring your progress. We will develop an awareness of the supervision process, and ensure that it meets your needs. Please contact me so we can have a conversation about what support you’d like with your counselling work.

How long are appointments?
